Craig Mart Anderson Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle, Craig Mart Anderson, age 64 passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012, after a five year battle with cancer. He was born on October 8, 1947, to Calvin O. and Vivian Iverson Anderson. He was raised in Garland, Utah where he lived almost his entire life. He graduated from Bear River High School and attended Utah Technical College earning a degree in Building/Construction Technology. He married Kathleen Miller on June 20, 1969 and they were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on August 29, 1975. He was the Father of Sharlet, Julee and Alan and Papa to Carson, Colton, Wyatt, Cameron and Liberty. Mart was a proud member of the Garland Fire Department for over 40 years were he served as the Fire Chief numerous times. He worked for the U&I Sugar Company and ATK Thiokol where he retired from in 2004 after which he became the Executive Director of Riverside-North Garland Water Company. He and his wife also own and operate C&K Construction. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin in Island Park with his family. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, children, Sharlet Anderson, Julee (Darren) Andersen and Alan (Jalynn) Anderson, five grandchildren, sisters, Voris Austin, and Vicky (Jim) Argyle. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers C. O'Neil and Douglas K Anderson. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Garland Tabernacle (140 W. Factory St) at 11:00 am. Viewings will be held Wednesday, May 23 at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home from 6-8 pm and at the tabernacle prior to services from 9:30-10:30.
