Eddy Charles "Buzzy" Mullenix age 71 of Hillsboro died Friday morning, October 4, 2013 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born February 19, 1942 in Hillsboro, Ohio the son of the late Henry and Geneva Foulk Mullenix. Mr. Mullenix had been a wood worker for Oak Leaf Woodworking in Hillsboro and had retired from the Army National Guard after twenty-one years of service. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Connie Patton Mullenix, three children, Andy (Marlene) Mullenix of Peebles, Billy and Amy Mullenix of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Andrew Scott Mullenix, Austin James Mullenix, Angel Leann Campbell, one step grandchild, Austin Young, two sisters, Barbara Ann Garman of Hillsboro, Linda (Roger) Phillips of Hillsboro, three brothers, John Richard Mullenix of West Union, Harry Mullenix of Hillsboro, Henry "Hank" Mullenix of Hillsboro and his mother-in-law, Byrda Patton of Hillsboro. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Tom Zile will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
