Hetty W. Kopecki, 76, had lived in Scotia since 1955. She was a graduate of Evansville College receiving an associates degree in business. For a time during World War II, Mrs. Kopecki was employed as a secretary in the business office of a war factory in Evansville. Mrs. Kopecki was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Schenectady. Her husband, Raymond W. Kopecki, died in 1992. She is survived by one daughter; two sons; one brother, Victor Simon of Evansville, IN; and seven grandchildren.
