Born October 16, 1936 in Chambers County, AL, she was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family and was always there to provide care when needed. Mrs. Cobb was a retired employee of Uniroyal in Opelika, an avid Atlanta Braves fan, member of Happy Valley Baptist Church and loved animals.
She was preceded in death by her son, Carlton Ray Earles; a brother, Adron Allen; and two sisters, Shirley Henson and Jeanette Lippincott.
Survivors: husband, daughter, stepdaughter, stepson, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers.
The family received friends Sunday, May 27 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL. Funeral services were Monday, May 28 at 2 p.m. at Happy Valley Baptist Church in Lanett with the Rev. John Samanie officiating. Burial at Osanippa Baptist Church Cemetery.
