Mrs. Bryant was born in Warwick, England, in 1839. Her parents, ( the Bench Family) came to Michigan in the 1840's. She married Melvin Bryant, who was from Ireland. They had many children and one of them was Clara Jane Bryant-Ford. She was close to Clara and her Son-In-Law Henry Ford I. They even traveled together when they went to the Grand Canyon together. She died in 1911, in Greenfield Township, MI, present day Farmington Hills, MI.
