Mrs. Beall Conger died at Tullahoma Friday, May 26, 1911, aged nearly 75 years. Two weeks ago she had gone to that place to visit her sister, Miss Nettie Norton, at whose home she died. Mrs. Conger had been in failing health for some time so that in a measure, her death was anticipated. A stomach trouble was her malady. Early in life, she united with the Methodist Church and her whole existence was glorified by her religious convictions. Refined, kind and lovable, gentleness fitted her like a garment and she had the confidence and love of every acquaintance. Four sons survive her, and their uprightness attests to the care of their mother in training them aright. They are Messrs. Iliff Conger of Tracy City, Dixie L., Charles, and R. A. Conger. The remains were brought to Fayetteville Saturday afternoon and buried in Rose Hill after funeral service by Rev. W. J. Collins.
