William T. (Gus) Gunstenson, 87, of Hereford, died Monday, June 18.

Gunstenson was born on August 29, 1902 in Henderson County, Texas.

He married Ethel Bowen June 27, 1928 in Wellington.

He was a resident of Hereford since 1942, moving there from Wellington,

He was retired from the George Warner Seed Compnay, where he was a bookkeeper from 1962 to 1986. He was a farmer as well. Gunstenson was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Hereford.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel, three daughters, Gailetta Arnold of Hereford; Wanda Burdine of Hereford; and Ramona Hardwick of South Padre Island;

One half-brother, Jim Fryer of Athens; and four half-sisters, Ola Shaver of Athens; Mattie Duncan of Waco; Lottie Stone of Fort Worth and Opal Smith of Austin.

Gunstenson also had five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
