Forrest Bussell Dies in Colorado -

Forrest Bussell, 64 of Wheatridge, Colorado passed away March 25 at a hospital there, following an acute heart attack. He had been under a doctor's care for the past month.

Funeral services were held March 30 at the Chapel at 29th Wadsworth Blvd., Wheatridge, Colorado and burial was in the Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Riley S. Grant, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiated.

Forrest Abel Bussell was born March 20, 1917 at Wolbach, Nebraska, the youngest son of George and Lottie Bussell. He attended school at Wolbach and graduated from Wolbach High School in 1936. His marriage to Lillie Haggstrom was on March 23, 1940. The couple have one daughter, Shirley Bussell Stewart and one grandson, Nicholas Stewart.

Forrest was the only remaining member of the Bussell family, being preceded in death by his three brothers, Kenneth, Stanton and Darold. Forrest had been under a great deal of stress after the deaths of his brothers, Stanton of North Platte on January 8, 1980 and Darold of Scotia on January 22, 1980.

Among those attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Bussell of North Loup, Mrs. Esther Bussell of Scotia and Mrs. Charles Combe of Ogden, Utah. Lillie was also blessed with having her four sisters and three of her brothers with her. One brother, Melvin of Alaska, was unable to attend the funeral services.
