Adolph Kaiser, 84, of Lake Havasu, AZ, formerly of Oswego, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6 with his wife Eutopia and her daughter, Georgiana Drain and her fiance, Fred, at his side. His family here in Illinois, unable to make it to Arizona in time, was with him in their hearts and prayers. Adolph was born November 3, 1920 in Basil, Switzerland to Adolph and Lina Kaiser.
Adolph spent his early life in Chillicothe, IL. He married Elizabeth (Bea) See on November 7, 1941. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Adolph started his career with Caterpillar in East Peoria, IL. Adolph and Bea and their two daughters, Diana and Carol, moved to the Oswego area when Adolph transferred to the Montgomery plant in 1958. Adolph accepted Christ as his Savior early in his life and was a former member of Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Aurora where he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher and youth leader for many years. Adolph was an election judge for many years and was active in the Kendall County Food Pantry. The last few years of Bea's life, Adolph was her devoted caregiver. After Bea's death, Adolph married Eutopia Ferguson and they moved to Lake Havasu where he never had to shovel snow again.
Adolph is survived by his two daughters, Diana (Chuck) Jensen of Yorkville and Carol (Mike) Morello of Norway, IL, and his brother, Paul Kaiser of Peoria. He is also survived by his grandchildren,, Kristi (Darin) George of Yorkville, Keith (Janell) Olson of Oswego and Jenni Palmer of Aurora; step grandchildren, Tina (Aaron) Kaltenecker of Newark and Brad (Christen) Jensen of Plano; his great grandchildren, Alec and Abbi Branson, Makenzie and James Palmer and Graci Olson; step great grandchildren, Tyler, Jake and Rachel Jensen, Anthony Kaltnecker, Darien Goodspeed and Christine George.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Bea; his brother, Ernie Kaiser; and his sisters, Betty Lauber and Marie Crull.
A graveside service for Adolph and Bea will be held Saturday, September 24, 2005 at 11 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park with Rev. Henry Miller, formerly of Marion Avenue Baptist Church, officiating. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
