DEXTER -- Albert A. Rabine, 81, of Dexter, a retired Chicago Milwaukee Railroad employee, died Tuesday at Spring Valley Community Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 5, 1909, in Mower County, he was a lifelong Dexter area resident. On March 19, 1955, he married Resa Lee in Brownsdale. Mr. Rabine was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Jean Temanson of Austin; two sisters, Rose Nicol and Esther Wicks, both of Dexter; and a brother, Melvin of Dexter. Two sisters preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Dexter, with the Rev. Bill Meier officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday at Hutchins Funeral Home in Grand Meadow and an hour before the service at the church.
