Mrs. Carrie J. Snyder, 79, died late Wednesday at her home in Sipesville. She had been confined to her bed for the past two years because of a fractured hip.

She was born near Beam church January 1, 1871, a daughter of Augusta and Maria Knepper Stahl and had lived in Sipesville 35 years. She was a member of the Beam Reformed church.

She was the wife of Norman Snyder who survives, also these brothers, Russell Stahl, address unknown; Clarence Stahl, Somerset, R. D. 6; John Stahl, Westmoreland county; Ralph Stahl, Akron, Oh.

Friends will be received at Hoff man Funeral home this Thursday, evening. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Synder Rites
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie J. Snyder, who died Wednesday, will be conducted in the Beam Reformed church at 10:30 a.m. preceded by a short service in the Walter S. Hoffman funeral home. The Rev. Warren O. Ziegler, assisted by the Rev. Cecil O. Showalter will officiate. Burial in the Beam cemetery.
