She was the fifth of eleven children; which five preceded her in death. Frankie leaves behind three sisters: Aslee Kelly (Sylvester of Los Angeles, California, Rosie Hadden of Lathrup Village, Michigan and Charity Turner (Marion) of Southfield, Michigan; two brothers: John Hill (Theresa: deceased in 2012) of Detroit, Michigan and George Hill of Detroit, Michigan.
Aside from her dedication to her family, extended family and friends, Frankie was also committed to her job. She worked at Jervis B. Webb in Detroit in various positions for 16 years until her health began to decline. After a lifetime of independence and serving as the rock of strength to her family, Frankie learned to depend on her family for strength and support. Throughout the many procedures, problems, and pains, she remained positive and continuously smiled.
Frankie had a warm, outgoing personality and her smile was infectious. She enjoyed talking with anyone and especially loved to laugh. She opened her heart to everyone and made everyone feel at home. She was a mother figure to three generations of young people, from her brothers and sisters to friends of her children and grandchildren. Her home was a haven for those in need of a kind word and a soft touch.
Frankie enjoyed cooking and would whip up culinary delights that would make your mouth water. Family dinners were always fun and fulfilling. She loved to dance and was known to dance the night away. Everyone who knew Frankie knew how much she loved to dance. Her vibrant personality will definitely be missed by all who knew and loved her. She had a special affinity for flowers and gardening.
On September 19, 2013, with her devoted husband and faithful children surrounding her, Frankie closed her eyes and went home to be with the Lord.
