Lloyd Charles Poole, 83, of Christiansburg, departed this life on Sunday, September 29, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sebert and Myrtle Poole; two brothers, Phil and Kermit Poole; and a sister, Thelma Sawyers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Johnsie; his brother, Ralph Poole, of Dublin; two sisters-in-law, Talma Hovatter and Beulah Jennelle, both of Christiansburg; and one brother-in-law, H.B. Horton, of Inwood, W.Va.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services that will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church in Radford, with Pastor Brian Cockram officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Dublin.
