Brown researcher - “I can find no other Elizabeth HAPGOOD that could have been the one married to Edward BROWN. Who was this Elizabeth? Did she die unmarried? According to Savage, The only other Edward BROWNs of this time period had settled in Ipswich and Salem. The problems lies not so much that there were other possible BROWN families as the fact that there were no other HAPGOOD families.”
