Cora Anita Hinson, 87, was born March 17, 1926 in Stella, Oklahoma the daughter of Iman and Etta (Henson) Williams, and passed from this life September 28, 2013 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

She graduated from McLoud High School and attended college for a short while. On September 29, 1946 she married Ervin Hinson. She was employed by the State of Oklahoma Dept. of Agriculture. She also worked as a bank teller and retired from Oklahoma Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. Her enjoyments included gardening, watching and feeding birds, and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother: Sherman Williams, and 2 sisters: Jerene Abshire and Wilma Radunzel. She is survived by: 2 children: Carol Brodersen and husband Dennis of Tecumseh, and Doug Hinson and wife Renee of Newalla; 5 Grandchildren: Pamela Snider and husband Blake of S.C., Lysa Park of Shawnee, Carrie Smith and husband Jay of Newalla, Justin Hinson and wife Jessica of Edmond, and Jennifer Sharp and husband Brandon of Purcell; Great-grandchildren: Austin, Blake, and Madison Smith, Wyatt, Emma, and Claire Hinson, Ian and Elizabeth Snider, Eric and Adam Park, and Mallory and Cash Sharp; Sister: Orlena Williams of Shawnee; 2 Brothers: James Williams of Bethany, and Patrick Williams of Newalla; And several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
