Isaac is a son of Robert Pope and Mary Huff - third of nine children.
He married Sarah Boletta Nielsen on March 1, 1899 in Manti, Utah. They became parents to twelve children, five of them died in infancy. They lived in Monroe, Utah from the time they were married until about 1916 when they moved to Arco, Idaho.
Isaac made his living as a carpenter. He died of cardiac failure and pneumonia.
