WILLIAMSBURG - Janice Stewart Annan Floyd, 80, of Williamsburg, passed away on September 22, 2013 at her home.
Janice was a graduate of Towson State University with a MEd degree and worked as a kindergarten teacher as well as teaching at the community college level.
She was a member of the Women's Club of Williamsburg, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, and served as a deaconess at Olive Branch Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27 from 7-9 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, VA. A service will be held on Saturday, September 28 beginning at 11 AM at Olive Branch Christian Church, 7643 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg, VA. Burial will take place on Monday, September 30 at 11 AM at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sentara Hospice Home Health, 1100 Professional Dr, Williamsburg, VA 23185; or to the Olive Branch Christian Church.
