Obituary - John W. Woolsey, 87, 2781 Grant, died Wednesday at the Weber County Chronic Disease Hospital in Roy after an extended illness.

Mr. Woolsey was born March 17, 1874, in Panguitch, Utah, a son of James B. and Terresa Meyers Woolsey. He was married to Alice Laramie. She died in 1936.

He had been a cattleman and railroad employee. He was a member of the Second
Ward.

Surviving are two sons, Larry and Ardell Woolsey, both of Ogden; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, the following brothers and sister: David and Parley Woolsey, Salt Lake City, Riley Woolsey, Ogden; Marrion and Earl Woolsey, Escalante, Utah; Mrs. Sarah Heaps, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Larkin Chapel with Bishop L. A. Peterson of the Second Ward conducting. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Burial in Escalante Cemetery.
