Mrs. M.E. Drake died suddenly yesterday morning as a result of a paralytic stroke. She was about 68 years of age and had resided in the city for the past four years with her son and daughter, O.P. Drake and Miss Estella Drake.
She had been an invalid from paralysis for the past 18 years but during the past few weeks, her condition seemed improved.
Her death was the result of a second stroke.
It is expected the funeral will be conducted on Monday.
