Also survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Henry (Lila) Nielson, Calgary; Mrs. Marvin (Helen) Bechthold, Calgary; Mrs. Wane (Opal) Speicher of Elkhart, Ind.; and Miss Lucille Swalm, Red Deer; 2 sons, Elvern C. Swalm, Didsbury and Norman Willard Swalm, Red Deer; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Paul (Franceso) Hall, Calgary; and Miss Nellie Swalm, Calgary. Mrs. Swalm came with his parents from Ontario in 1899 and settled South East of Didsbury farming there until 1952 when he retired to Calgary.
