Mrs. Malissa June Clater, 91, of Warrenton died on September 18, 2013 at Fauquier Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Kimball, VA on June 5, 1922, a daughter of John Arthur Judd and Gladys Beahm Judd.

Mrs. Clater was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had worked as a home health provider, then for 18 years she was the cafeteria manager at P.B. Smith Elementary School before working at the Defense Mapping Agency for a short time.

Mrs. Clater is survived by her husband of 71 years, Charles Roland Clater Sr., and four children; Jefferson N. Clater of Burns, TN, Charles R. Clater Jr., of Missoula, MT, Anda Kim Jones of Tampa, FL and Dena Jay Lindley of Okmulgee, OK. Mrs. Clater is also survived by a brother, Charles Judd of Luray, eighteen grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Malissa Ellen Lytle (Find A Grave Memorial #48343083), and a sister, Anne Bradford.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23 at 10 AM at the Warrenton Church of the Latter-day Saints, 585 Fauquier Road, Warrenton, VA. Interment will follow at 12:30 at Beahm's Chapel Cemetery, Luray, VA.
