Last Thursday, Nov. 29th, Mrs. Louise Stern, wife of the farmer, Gotl. Stern, sister of Christian Stern of Kasson, died at Spruce, Wis., at the home of her daughter. The body arrived here Monday on the noon train for interment. From here the body was taken to the Lutheran Church near Kasson where appropriate services were held,. Her body was laid to rest beside her husband in the cemetery north east of Kasson. Rev. M. Sauer officiating at the funeral. The deceased was born Sept. 9th 1828 in Germany. She came to America in 1853 and lived near Kasson many years. Her husband died about 24 years ago. Since about 20 years Mrs. Stern lived with her children. She leaves to mourn, one son, two daughters and one brother.
