Born April 4, 1921, at San Antonio, she was the daughter of James W. and Anna Laura Hylbert Sims. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church at Batesville.
Survivors include a son, Rod Wilburn of Greenville, Ga.; a daughter, Cheryl “Sherry” Matthews of Batesville; a brother, James H. Sims of Hattiesburg, Miss.; five granddaughters; five great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James R. Wilburn.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville with David McGhghy and Troy Sharp officiating. Burial will be at Forrest Meadows Cemetery in Gainesville, Fla., with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight.
