Joshua Dean Ruddell, a Lewiston student, died Wednesday at his home of an accidental gunshot wound. He was 14.

He was born May 28, 1980, to Kristin V. White and Dellwin D. Ruddell at Lewiston. He lived at North Pole, Alaska, from 1982 to 1992, when he moved to Lewiston to live with his father and stepmother, Dana K. Ruddell.

He was a student at Sacajawea Junior High School and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, and riding four-wheelers and motorcycles.
