LA MARQUE-Funeral services for Ray F. "Tucky" Bobbitt, 76, of 2506 Magnolia, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in La Marque, the Rev. Jim Rhodes and the Rev. Jewell McClure officiating.

Graveside Masonic services will be held in Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock under the auspices of the La Marque Masonic Lodge No. 1325.

Mr. Bobbitt died Thursday night at Memorial Hospital at Galveston County.

He was born Dec. 19,1902.

A retired superintendent in the maintenance department at Union Carbide Co., he was a resident of La Marque for 25 years. A charter and life member of the La Marque Masonic Lodge No. 1325, he was also a member of the El Mina Shrine Temple of Galveston and served as potentate in 1962.

Mr. Bobbitt served as the first chairman of the board of governors at the Shrine Burns Institute in Galveston and was credited as one of the persons responsible for the hospital being built in Galveston. He was an organizer of the El Mina Shrine Motor Patrol and an active member of the Texas Gulf Coast Unit of Airstream Harbor Association at Zavala, Texas.

Survivors Include his wife, Helena Bobbitt of La Marque; two sons, James Ray Bobbitt of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., and Richard Lee "Dickie" Bobbitt of La Mesa, Calif.; a daughter, Betty Frances DuBose of Houston; three sisters, Jessie Minter and Lucy G. Reed of Hamilton, Ohio, and Pauline Hansen of New Castle, Wyo., and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be T.F. Drummond , Roy E. McGlann, L.J. Nelson, Robert Patterson, D.W. Sullivan and Npah Welch.

Honorary pallbearers will be William Guerry, M.A. Holland, H.E. Padgett, E.A. Petit, T.F. Stepchinshi, Vince Pafford and Charles E. Zerwekh.

Friends may call at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque after 3 p.m. today.
