"Mrs Mary Ebach, 83, widow of Anthony Ebach, and a resident of Saginaw 51 years, died Sunday at the home of her son, Joseph Ebach, 503 North Oakley Street. Mary Guitar was born Oct. 25, 1850 in Alsace-Lorraine, then a part of Germany, and came with her parents to Ruth, MI, as a baby. She was married at Ruth, to Mr. Ebach on Sept. 3, 1868, and lived there until coming to Saginaw in 1882. Mr. Ebach died June 18, 1917. She was a member of St. Andrew's Church, and its Altar Society. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mary Farrell, of Saginaw; Mrs. Frances Salnave; Mrs. Archie Hall; and Mrs. Fred Wedding, all of Flint; three sons, Joseph; and Nicholas Ebach, of Saginaw; and Ezra Ebach, of Ann Arbor; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Kosal, of Palms, MI; and Mrs. Kate Brown, of Seattle, WA, and a brother, Nicholas Guitar, of Ruth.

The funeral service is at the home of her son, Joseph Ebach, at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, and at St. Andrew's Church at 9 a.m., will be conducted by Rev. Fr. Timothy Kroboth. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery."
