There is no mention of relationship on this census or why Annette would have surname Bowen in June and Campbell in Aug.
There must have been upheaval in the Campbell family in 1870 because Mother Eliza/Louisa isn't on following census records.
There is a death certificate for Martin who died 1 Jun 1878 of Lung Fever in Decatur, MI. at age 16, but the parents listed are John and Mary Campbell, so maybe another family member took him in because father Alonzo died 2 years before that.
