Marco de la Cruz, 30, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2005. Services will be at 11 a.m, Tuesday, at the First Spanish Assembly with the Rev. Frank Alvarado officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m, Monday, at OakCrest Funeral Home with prayer service at 7 p.m.
Marco was born in Harlingen, Texas, to Jose and Petra de la Cruz. He married Ruth Elizabeth Flores on February 12, 2005. Marco was an auto body repairman.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; sons, Marco Jr. and Ryan; daughter, Mariah; mother, Petra de la Cruz; brothers: Daniel, David, and Macario Jr.; sisters, Elisa and Hydee; brothers-in-law: Marcus, Robert, and Colt Flores; sisters-in-law: Alma, Judith, and Marlynn Flores, and Melissa Gutierrez; many other relatives and friends.
