Grace H. Rutt, 87, of 300 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Apt. C305, Willow Street, formerly of West Cottage Avenue, Millersville, and Thomasville, died Wednesday at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. Rutt was a nursing assistant at Brethren Home, Cross Keys.

She was a 50 year member of Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Rachel Snoke Hensel.

She was married 64 years in July to J. Mark Rutt.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Grace R. ,married to Rolin Stein-
brecher of Houston, Mass.; Anna M., married to the Rev. John Yealts of Grantham; and Kath-
leen R., married to Edward Neuman Jr. of York; three sons, the Rev Charles E, married to Linda Rutt of Durham, N.C.; John M. Jr. of Middletown and William A. of Bonita Springs, Fla.; 16 grandchildren;and 15 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, John Hensel of Mechanicsburg; Glenn Hensel of Chambers-
burg; and Earl Hensel of California; and two sisters, Florence Davis of Mechanicsburg; and Anna Mary Thrush of Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and David Hensel; and two sisters, Lizzie Hoffman and Esther Thrush.
