Nellie Ricketts
Mrs. R.A. Ricketts, 86, Zearing, died Wednesday morning at the Story County Hospital in Nevada after a three-months illness. Services wjll be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Zearing Christian Church with the Rev. Phillip Kinton officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery. Brouhard Funeral Home is in charge.
She lived in Zearing since 1911, was a member of the Christian Church and a charter member of the Sorosis Club of Zearing. Her husband preceded her in death in 1966.
She is survived by nine children; Carroll R., Belleville, Ill.; Robert A., Nevada; Max R., Lexington Park, Md.; Wayne E., Joliet, Ill.,; Donald R., Zearing; Mrs. B.V. (Ilene) Womeldorff, Mingo; Mrs.
A.S. (Jeanette) Allison, Marshalltown; Mrs. Wayne (Maxine) Britton, Marshalltown; Mrs. Wesley (Mary) Thorson, Ellsworth; 27 grand-children and 18 great grandchildren.
