Mr. Colley, a self-employed carpenter, worked in Monon for 11 years. He was last employed as training director for carpenter's apprentices for the Carpenters Union Local 125. He retired in Mary 1995. He was a member of St. Mary Cathedral, Sierra Club, St. Mary Building Committee, a former member of St. Vincent DePaul, and he served on the board of directors of Family Assistant Management Inc. A veteran of the Navy, he served from 1950 until 1956.
Surviving with his wife are his father, Eddie D. Colley, Sr. of West Point; and two brothers, Eddie D. Colley, Jr. of Indianapolis and H. David Colley of West Point. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary V. Colley.
