Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Johnson, 57, former South Plains resident, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in McDonald Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. H. M. Sheats, pastor of Highland Park Assembly of God Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Idalou Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson, whose home was in Las Palomas, N. M., died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Truth or Consequences, N. M. She had lived in the Lubbock area 18 years before moving to New Mexico in 1957. Her husband formerly was associated with the Lubbock Poster Co.

Survivors include the husband, J. P. Johnson; five sisters, Mrs. S. L. Roberts, Lubbock, Mrs. Charley Smith, Hamilton City, Calif., Mrs. C. R. Billings, Ventura, Calif., Mrs. Claude Mitchell, Ojai, Calif., and Mrs. Lee Martin, Lancaster, Calif.; two brothers, Walter Johnson, Childress, and Hoyt Johnson, Lubbock.

Pallbearers will be Jack Mitchell, Coleman Smith, Kirk Roberts, Jess Roberts, W. L. Roberts and Curtis Roberts.
