Orie Pudder, 78, of Sugar Grove, passed away Saturday September 21, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic.

Orie was born July 15, 1935 in Hacker Valley, W.V., a son of the late Ora and Grace (Cutlip) Pudder. He served in the navy reserves for a number of years, and worked as a barber for 56 Years. He was a proud member of the Warren Co. Horseshoe League, a member of the Stillwater Lodge F&AM in Youngsville, a life social member of the Sugar Grove Vol. Fire Dept,a member of the Sugar Grove AmVets Club, a 47 year member of the Sugar Grove American Legion and a 43 year member of the Jamestown Moose Club. Orie enjoyed bowling, woodworking, hunting, taking care of his roses, feeding the birds, and spending time with his family. Spending time at his barber shop in Sugar Grove was a social experience for all that came to him. He will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ruth (Ayling) Pudder, whom he married on November 5, 1955, a son David (Amy) Pudder, a daughter Diane (Rick) Lowe, grandchildren, Tom Pudder, Adriane (Chase) Barnes, Tamara Pudder, Keely (Jake) Zafuto, Tyler (DonnaRae) Lowe, 2 great grandchildren Torrina and Zella, 2 sisters Thelma Hayes and Wanda Rucks, a sister in law Juanita Haslet, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Harold Pudder and a nephew Randy Pudder.

Friends will be received on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Vol. Fire Dept, at which time a celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Lottsville Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 7262, Hillsborough, NJ 08844, the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231, or the Busti Vol. Fire Dept. 886 Mill Rd.
