He is pre-deceased by his grandson, James Siggs, of Arizona. His survivors are his wife, Dorothy (Dottie) of 61 years; children Roger (Cathy) of Peoria, Arizona; Richard (Sharon) of Fort Myers; Barbara (John) Carew of Fort Myers; Ron (Dorothy) of Hendersonville, NC; and Brenda Siggs of Fort Myers. Surviving grandchildren are Roger Jr. (Sasha) of Colorado; and Cam and Kenny Siggs of Fort Myers; great-grandchildren are Kelson and James Siggs of Colorado. W.C. "Bill" is also survived by his brother, Stanley Siggs of Prairie Village, KS.
W.C. was drafted into the US Army Signal Corps in (WWII), March 1941. After preflight training, he became a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps in June 1943. As a pilot, of an A20, he flew 65 missions out of England. Returning to the States, in 1944 he later was assigned to Occupation Forces in Japan. He was discharged as a Captain in 1947.
W.C. received an Associate Degree in Engineering from OK A&M College. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church on 2nd Street for 30 years. He and Dottie were residents of Del Tura Country Club for 20 years where he enjoyed golfing, and other activities.
