Margie Liona May passed away September 22, 2013. She was born in Durant, Oklahoma on September 21, 1942 to Joseph and Charlene (Bledsoe) McDonough. Margie enjoyed painting, going on cruises, and gardening. In February 1957, she married her husband, William R. May. They were married for 54 years.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She leaves behind a son, Bill May; daughters, Jill May and Leah May-Horsely and husband Todd; five grandchildren, Joshua Burks, Kelly Pelham and husband Charles, Kristin May, Cody May and wife Adrianna, and Carson May; sister, Diana Gwen Cubbly; niece, Tamara Marshall-Fryer; and nephew, Joe Marshall.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11AM-8PM. Funeral service will be held in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel at 2PM on Thursday.
