Rock Island resident Sallie Mable Brown, 86, died Feb. 20 at River Park Hospital.
A retired employee of Smithville Shirt Factory and a member of the Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Ethel (Childress) Hendrixson; and was preceded in death by brothers, Jay and Robert Hendrixson.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Brown; daughter, Patty Brown of Rock Island; son Bill Brown of Rome, Ga.; and brother, Charlie Hendrixson of Smithville.
Services were held Tuesday at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home Chapel in Smithville with Rev. Curtis Boren officiating. Burial followed at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home of Smithville was in charge of arrangements.
