Funeral services were held for Paula Ann Keel, 46, of Lucedale on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Interment followed in Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Bruce McKenzie and Rev. Eugene Hamilton officiating the services.

A member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Central community and a volunteer at Lucedale Intermediate School, she died September 23 at Glenoaks Nursing Home. She was born March 4, 1964 in South Bend, Ind.

She is survived by her mother Gwendolyn Brown Keel of Lucedale; brother Monte Allen Keel of Noble, Okla.; nephew David (Trinity) Keel of Madison, Ala.; nieces Quinnlyn Keel and Elizabeth Keel, both of Nile, Mich.; and special friend Jerry Tucker of Lucedale.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald Eugene Keel, brother William “Bill” Keel and sister Kathy Keel Alford.

Pallbearers included Grady Williams, Marcus Jackson, Bobby Rogers, Joe Lee Rouse, Linwood Miller and Rex Garrick.
