LUCEDALE, MS - Gwendolyn L. “Gwen” Keel, 78, of Lucedale, MS, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016.
She was born August 10, 1937, in Charleston, South Carolina. Gwen was a bookkeeper and a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Lucedale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Keel; a son, William Lee Keel; 2 daughters, Kathy Lynn Keel and Paula Ann Keel; father, Vester L. Brown; and mother, Lottie Howell.
She is survived by her son, Monte Keel, Noble, OK; a grandson, David (Trinity) Keel, Madison, AL; 2 granddaughters, Quinnlyn Keel and Elizabeth Keel, both of Crestview, FL; a brother, Vester Leo Brown, Mobile, AL; and a sister, Claudia (Fred) Jones, Pensacola, FL.
Her funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016, at 2 PM, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Bruce McKenzie officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
