BAY CITY, Mich. — Mrs. Ruby Louise McGinty, 86, formerly of Shelby, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, in Bay City, Mich., following a brief illness.
She was born to Augustus and Ada Poston Anthony on April 17, 1937, they moved to Flint, Mich., for 41 years, where she and her husband were employed with Flint Home Furnishings Co. They returned to Shelby in 1978 and resided there until Raymond's death on Jan. 25, 1991, at which time Ruby moved to Bay City to be near her daughter, Kaye.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by two sisters and three brothers, Mozell Farmer, Gladys Weathers and Walter, Shannon and Astor Anthony.
Burial: Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Shelby.
