Jessie B. Howard, 91, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the All American Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Casketbearers will be her grandchildren. Interment will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Jessie's name. Jessie Bell Hubbs was born September 7, 1922, the daughter of Dave Wesley and Lydie Pearl (Tally) Hubbs. On September 9, 1939, Jessie was united in marriage to Herman Leroy Howard in Muscatine. She loved reading, playing bingo and her family.

Jessie will be deeply missed by two sons, Herman B. Howard and wife, Joyce, and Michael Howard all of Muscatine; daughter, Donna Stoddard and husband, Jack of Muscatine; daughter-in-law, Patty Howard of Muscatine; fourteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Larry and Carl Howard; five brothers; and five sisters.
