Dale A. James, 57, of Lehighton entered into eternal rest Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, in the Blue Mountain Health System Hospital, Gnaden Huetten Campus.

He was the husband of Rebecca A. James with whom he celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary last year and the late Diane J. James.

Born in Lehighton, he was the son of Gerald T. James of Palmerton and the late Jeanne M. (Cadugan) James.

Dale was employed as a courier for Avantgarde Dental Laboratory in Lehighton.

Surviving along with his wife and father are two step-sons Matthew G. Dehart and his wife Joyceann of Lansford and David J. Dehart and his wife Danielle of Lansford; uncle Jeffery James and his wife Mary of Elizabethtown; and four grandchildren Cody, Kaitlyn, Noah, and Sarah.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Melber Funeral Home Inc., 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe, with the Rev. Wayne Benack officiating.

Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Jim Thorpe. Call Tuesday morning 9:30 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.

The Melber Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
