Reginald Roy De Coite of Pleasanton died Monday in ValleyCare Hospital in Pleasanton. He was 47.
A native of Hawaii, he grew up in Pleasanton and then moved to Las Vegs for 11 years. He returned to Pleasanton in 1984 and worked for Rhodes & Jamieson Cement until 1987, when he and his wife opened De Coites' Auto Body of Pleasanton and Livermore. He retired in 1993 after suffering a stoke.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene De Coite of Pleasanton; daughters, Lisa Magor of Indianapois, Indiana, Shelah De Coite of Dublin, and Angela Cornwell of Pleasanton; son, Lloyd Cornwell of Pleasanton; sister, Pat Duncan of Pleasanton brothers, Dennis De Coite of New Mexico and Edward De Coite Jr. of Pleasanton; and one grandson.
Services: Memorial at 9:30am Saturday at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 3999 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton. Gathering after at 3460 Zion Canon Court, Pleasanton.
