JULIUS ZIEMER

Julius F. Ziemer, 85, a former Reedsville resident, died Thursday
at Waupaca Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter Evangelical
Church, Weyauwega. The Rev. J. C. Dahlke will officiate with burial
in Sts. John and James Evangelical Church Cemetery, Reedsville.

Mr. Zimmer was born in Bartow, Germany, July 1, 1873. He came to
America with his parents when nine months old. The family located
at West Bloomfield, Wis. At the age of nine, he moved to Reedsville.
Mr. Ziemer married Margaret Schneider at Menominee, Mich., in 1896.
She preceded him in death in 1905. In 1947 he moved to Weyauwega.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Louis Herzog and Mrs. Joseph
Kattner of Manitowoc and Mrs. Otto Brasch of Oshkosh; four sisters,
Mrs. Minnie Voeltz and Mrs. Augusta Zimmerman of Reedsville, Mrs.
Alvina Busse of Abbotsford and Mrs. Bertha Schmidt of Oshkosh; eight
grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Harrigan Funeral Home, Weyauwega, after 2 p.m.
Friday until noon Sunday when the casket will be removed to the church
where the body will be in state until the hour of service.
