Mr. Santoro passed away at the age of 65, and resided in Lincoln Park. He was survived by his cherished wife, his dear mother, and his two daughters and his son. Loving grandfather of five. Dear sibling of five sisters and one brother. He graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army after being drafted, and spent two tours in Frankfort, Germany. Afterwards, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard, and spent 14 years with them. In 1986 he moved to Tennessee, and started the magazine, The Memphis Star. After moving back to MI in 1993, he was in real estate sales, and was active in the Coast Guard in Harbor Beach. He married his wife in 1995, and they started Wyandotte Resale together. He also worked as a blackjack dealer for MGM, and as a safety inspector. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and metal detecting. They liked to travel together. He had musical talent, played the guitar and wrote songs and short stories. He belonged to the American Legion Post # 478 in Southgate, and also to St. John United Church of Christ.
