Mandy was our wonderful white spitz. She was given to my parents when she was just 11 months old by a friend of mine. She was a terrific dog and loved everyone she came in contact with. She loved to run around the yard with a ball on the tip of her nose. She also played with my cat Fred. Mandy lived to be 16 years old which I understand to be rare for this breed. She became quite ill and we had to have her put to sleep. That was very hard on me. Her nick name was "Mandy Jane" which my son started calling her when he was 2. We miss her alot. She is buried under the apple tree at my parents former home in Peru Indiana.
