Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 15 @ 10:00 AM at Earl Road Christian Church, with the Rev. Kim A. Cole officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, October 14 from 6 to 8 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City.
Mrs. Grantham was born April 22, 1946 in Michigan City to Joseph and Marguerite (Batzel) Bowman, both whom are deceased.
On July 21, 1967 in Michigan City she married Robert L Grantham, Sr., he passed away July 16, 1998.
Surviving are daughter Bobbi M. Laughlin of Michigan City, son Robert L. Grantham, Jr. of Michigan City; and daughter Melissa A. Grantham of Michigan City; grandchildren Adam and Trent Laughlin; sisters Linda (Harold) Scovel of Michigan City and Barbara (Norman) Novitske of Michigan City; and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.
She was preceded by a sister Joanne Allen.
Mrs. Grantham had been employed in the office of Nationwide Midwest for the past year, and formerly with Customation, Inc. for several years.
Karen was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
