Sweetwater, Jan. 24 - Last rites for Lewis Hubbard, Sr., 69, a Sweetwater barber, were to be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Highland Heights Methodist Church. The Rev. Travis L. Darby was to officiate. Burial in Sweetwater Cemetery was directed by Cate-Spencer Funeral Home.
Mr. Hubbard died at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Sweetwater Hospital.
He and a son, L. M. Hubbard, Jr., owned a Sweetwater barber shop. He had been in the barber business since 1910.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Myron of San Antonio, Edwin of Roswell, N.M., and L. M., Jr. of Sweetwater; one brother, Dell Hubbard of San Angelo; one sister, Mrs. Lezzie Rainbolt of Tucson, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.
