ROACH, CLARENCE R. - age 82, of Knoxville, reunited with his daughter, Diana Rose; mother, Sally Roach; and brother, Lewis Roach, on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. He was a graduate of Old Knoxville High School, a veteran of U.S. army having served as a paratrooper for the 82nd Airborne Ft. Bragg Division during the Korean War, and a retired quality control inspector through Beverly Steel. Survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Joanna French Roach; children, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roach, Mr. and Mrs. Elizabeth Roach Latham, and Mr. and Mrs. Deborah Roach Turner; grandchildren, Krista, Kendra, and Dylan Roach, Mr. and Mrs. Adam McMahan, Mr. and Mrs. Nick McMahan, Matthew McMahan, and Timothy and Hunter Turner; great grandchildren, Kailee and Ryder Roach; brother, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Roach; brothers-in-law, Jack French, and Mr. and Mrs. Danny French; favorite sister-in-law, Mrs. Linda French Jenkins; treasured and wonderful friends, Jim McMahan, and Wayne and Gary Kontz; and several nieces and nephews.

The family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Mr. Nicholas E. McMahan officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens with full military honors present by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Adam, Nick, Matthew, Timothy, Hunter, and Dylan; granddaughters, Krista and Kendra; great grandchildren, Kailee and Ryder.
