2 Nov 2001: Kenneth E. "Ken" White, 78, Lebanon, died of natural causes Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, in his home. He was the husband of Lucetta B. Roth White to whom he was married for 49 years on June 28. Born Feb. 10, 1923, in Lebanon, he was a son of the late William White and Ollie Shott White Shaak. He was a retired truck driver from the former Hall's Motor Freight in Mechanicsburg, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Grace Independent Church and Friendship Fire Co., both in Lebanon. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter Barbara A., wife of Edward White of Glen Rock; sister Ellen Jane Kercher of Lebanon; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by brother Charles White. Funeral Monday in Grace Independent Church, Lebanon. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
