Charles Ashbaugh Jr. 39, of Route 1, Ekron died Monday, May 28, 1984 at his residence.

Mr. Ashbaugh was born June 30, 1944 the son of Charlie Ashbaugh Sr. and Addie Roby Ashbaugh.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosalie Padgett Ashbaugh; four children, Mrs. Becky Thomas and Mrs. Joyce Benham both of Brandenburg, Charles Wayne Ashbaugh and Joey Ashbaugh both of home; three sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Rader of Louisville, Mrs. Ailene Matthews of Hopkinsville and Mrs. Geneva Richard of Indianapolis, Indiana; five brothers, Earl Ashbaugh of Ekron, Gilbert Ashbaugh of Cecilia, Rex Ashbaugh of Shepherdsville, Amos Ashbaugh and Hubert Ashbaugh both of Louisville; one granddaughter, Miss Kimmy Thomas.

Funeral services were held from St. John the Apostle catholic Church with Father Bill Martin officiating. Burial was in St. George Cemetery directed by Hager Funeral Home.
